Community members made up of service clubs, businesses, families, and individuals form teams to raise pledges, construct their idea of the silliest boat, and endeavour to race around a marker at Ruth Lake Park and back to shore without capsizing – all this to the roar of applause from the crowd of spectators. There are trophies, awards, and prizes to be won. Most of all, it is a great time for the whole family.

Super silliest boat Super silliest costumes

First to finish First to sink

Prizes will be awarded for the most pledges raised in each of the following categories:

How To Get involved – Checklist

  1. Get friends and associates together to form a team.

  1. Pick a team name.

  1. Make a goal to raise pledges.

    1. Minimum Pledge Amounts:

      1. Corporate: $100.00

      2. Community $50.00

      3. Family $25.00

  1. Register by phone, mail, or e-mail. (See contact Page)

  1. Team participants must sign waiver/release form.

Waiver/release & Registrastion forms must be handed in at Ruth Lake Park by 9:00 am on August 9, 2015.
